Coach's Corner

The coaching tools, in one place

Coach's Corner is the hub for everything you run as a coach rather than something the whole team edits. It sits on the team menu under Coach's Corner, and it collects six tools that would otherwise be scattered across the app.

Who can open it

Coaches and team admins see the hub and can create in every tool inside it.

Players and parents do not see the hub itself. They see the pieces meant for them — an assigned whiteboard, a volunteer slot to claim, an item tracker you chose to make visible to the team.

Premium team required

The tools inside Coach's Corner are premium features. A team unlocks them one of two ways:

  • The team owner has a Pro subscription and has designated this team as one of their Pro teams.
  • The team is funded through a club running RosterHub Max.

On a free team the tiles are visible but locked, so you can see what is there before deciding.

Whiteboards

Whiteboards are play diagrams drawn on a background that matches your sport. They are the one Coach's Corner tool without a separate guide, so here is the whole thing:

Drawing one

  1. 1. Coach's Corner → Whiteboards → New
  2. 2. Pick a background for your sport
  3. 3. Draw the play — players, movement, puck or ball path
  4. 4. Give it a title and save

Adding a voiceover

Record yourself talking through the diagram and the recording is saved with it. Players get the explanation, not just the drawing — which is the difference between a play they can run and a picture they squint at.

Sharing

Each whiteboard has a visibility setting, and you can assign one to specific players rather than the whole roster — useful when the defensive pairing needs a diagram the forwards do not.

Whiteboards can be grouped into folders and reordered, so a season's worth of plays stays navigable.

Coach's Corner is available on all three. Drawing a whiteboard is easier on a tablet or in a browser than on a phone.
