Event Types

RosterHub supports four types of events, each with a distinctive color:

Practice

Regular training sessions

Game

Scheduled games against opponents

Tournament

Multi-game events

Meeting

Team meetings, parent meetings, etc.

Creating Events

  1. 1Go to the Schedule tab
  2. 2Tap the + button in the top right
  3. 3Select the event type (Practice, Game, Tournament, Meeting)
  4. 4Enter event details (see below)
  5. 5Tap 'Create' to save

Event Details

Date & Time

Set the start date/time and optionally an end time. Events appear on both calendar and list views.

Location

Add a venue name and address. Team members can tap to open directions in Maps.

Opponent (Games only)

Enter the opposing team name. Shows on event cards and notifications.

Recurring Events

Create events that repeat on a schedule.

Recurrence Options

  • Daily - Every day or every X days
  • Weekly - Same day each week (e.g., every Tuesday)
  • Monthly - Same date or day of week each month

Set an end date or number of occurrences to control when the series stops.

Tip: When editing a recurring event, you can choose to edit just this occurrence or all future occurrences.

Calendar Views

Calendar View

Monthly calendar showing events as colored dots. Tap any day to see that day's events.

List View

Chronological list of upcoming and past events. Toggle between "Upcoming" and "Past" at the top.

Confirmed

Maybe

Tentative

Not Going

Declined

Send RSVP Reminders

Coaches can tap the bell icon on any event to send push notifications to members who haven't responded yet.

Calendar Export

Export your team schedule to external calendar apps.

  1. 1. Go to the Schedule tab
  2. 2. Tap the export icon (share button) in the top right
  3. 3. Choose "Export Calendar"
  4. 4. An .ics file will be generated
  5. 5. Open with Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, etc.

Supported apps: Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and any app that supports ICS files.
