Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Corporate Mutt LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") concerning your access to and use of the RosterHub mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using RosterHub, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use RosterHub. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

For accounts created on behalf of organizations (teams, clubs, leagues), you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Account Registration

To use certain features of RosterHub, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or contain inaccurate information.

Description of Service

RosterHub is a team management platform that allows coaches, managers, players, and parents to:

  • Create and manage team rosters
  • Schedule events, practices, and games
  • Track attendance and RSVP responses
  • Upload and annotate game videos
  • Communicate through announcements and messages
  • Track team budgets and expenses
  • Find games and opponents through Game Finder

Subscription Plans and Payments

Free Tier

The free tier of RosterHub provides basic team management features with the following limitations:

  • Up to 25 roster members per team
  • Limited video storage
  • Advertisements displayed within the app
  • Access to core scheduling and roster features

RosterHub Pro

RosterHub Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks additional features:

  • Unlimited roster members
  • Own up to 3 teams with Pro benefits for all team members
  • Video annotations with drawing tools and voice notes
  • Budget tracking and financial management
  • Game Finder access to post and respond to game listings
  • Priority customer support

Payment Terms

  • Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store
  • Prices are displayed in your local currency
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's subscription settings
  • No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

Free Trials

We may offer free trial periods for Pro subscriptions. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the subscription. Free trials are limited to one per Apple ID.

User Content

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to RosterHub, including videos, photos, annotations, and text ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  • Store, process, and display your content to provide the Service
  • Share your content with team members according to their access permissions
  • Create backup copies for data protection purposes

This license ends when you delete your content or close your account, except for content shared with teams where other members may retain access.

Content Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for your User Content and agree that it will not:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Contain defamatory, obscene, or offensive material
  • Include personal information of others without their consent
  • Contain malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Be used for spam, harassment, or unauthorized commercial purposes

Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful or inappropriate. We are not obligated to monitor all content but may do so to ensure compliance.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Collect personal information of other users without consent
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited communications (spam)
  • Circumvent any access restrictions or usage limits
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels

Team Management

Team Ownership

The user who creates a team is the team owner (Head Coach). Team owners have full administrative control over the team, including the ability to:

  • Manage team settings and branding
  • Add, edit, or remove roster members
  • Assign roles and permissions
  • Delete the team entirely

Role Permissions

RosterHub uses a role-based permission system. Coaches and managers can create and edit content; players and guardians have view access. The specific permissions for each role are determined by the team owner.

Data Sharing Within Teams

By joining a team, you acknowledge that your profile information and activity (such as RSVP responses) will be visible to other team members according to their role permissions. Exercise caution when sharing sensitive information within teams.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by Corporate Mutt LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

"RosterHub," the RosterHub logo, and other marks are trademarks of Corporate Mutt LLC. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

Third-Party Services

RosterHub integrates with third-party services including:

  • Apple Sign-In for authentication
  • Google Sign-In for authentication
  • Google AdMob for advertising (free tier)
  • MyHockeyRankings for team ratings (optional)

Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors or defects will be corrected
  • The Service is free of viruses or other harmful components

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CORPORATE MUTT LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
  • Service interruption or computer damage
  • Cost of substitute services
  • Any damages arising from your use of the Service

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Corporate Mutt LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your User Content
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party

Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time by using the "Delete Account" feature in the app settings. Upon termination, your account data will be deleted within 30 days, subject to our data retention policy.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Your State], United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Informal Resolution

Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to contact us at legal@rosterhub.app to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days.

Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be conducted in [Your City, State].

Class Action Waiver

YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

  • Posting a notice in the app
  • Sending an email to your registered address
  • Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.

General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Corporate Mutt LLC regarding the Service.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
