Information You Provide

We collect information you voluntarily provide when using RosterHub:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, and profile photo when you create an account
  • Team Information: Team name, sport type, season, roster details, and team logo
  • Roster Member Data: Names, contact information, jersey numbers, positions, and emergency contact details
  • Event Data: Schedule information, locations, RSVP responses, and event notes
  • Video Content: Videos you upload, annotations, voice notes, and drawing data
  • Budget Information: Transaction records, categories, and financial notes
  • Communications: Messages sent through the app, announcements, and support inquiries

Information Collected Automatically

When you use our Service, we automatically collect certain information:

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers
  • Usage Data: Features used, time spent in app, interaction patterns

  • Location Data: With your permission, approximate location for Game Finder feature

  • Sign in with Apple: If you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID, email (which may be hidden), and name

With Team Members

Information you add to a team (such as roster entries, events, announcements, and videos) is visible to other members of that team according to their role permissions. Coaches and managers have broader access than players and guardians.

With Service Providers

We share information with third-party vendors who help us operate our Service:

  • Cloud Hosting: Fly.io, AWS, or similar providers for data storage
  • Analytics: To understand app usage and improve performance
  • Payment Processing: Apple App Store for subscription management
  • Advertising: Google AdMob for displaying non-intrusive banner advertisements
  • Push Notifications: Apple Push Notification Service (APNs)

For Legal Reasons

We may disclose your information if required by law or if we believe disclosure is necessary to:

Team data (roster entries, events, videos) may be retained for the benefit of other team members even after individual account deletion, but your personal account linkage will be removed.

Your Rights and Choices

Account Information

You can update your account information at any time through the app's Profile settings. You can also request a copy of your data or ask us to correct inaccurate information.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time through the app's settings (More > Delete Account). This will permanently remove your personal account and unlink you from any teams. Team data you created may remain available to other team members.

Push Notifications

You can opt out of push notifications through your device settings or the app's notification preferences.

Location Data

Location access is optional and only used for the Game Finder feature. You can enable or disable location access through your device settings at any time.

Advertising Preferences

RosterHub displays non-intrusive banner advertisements. You can limit ad personalization through your device settings.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information:

  • Data encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest
  • Secure authentication using industry-standard protocols
  • Regular security assessments and updates
  • Access controls limiting employee access to user data
  • Secure credential storage using iOS Keychain

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

RosterHub is designed for team management and may be used by organizations involving minors (youth sports teams). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without parental consent.

If a child under 13 needs to be added to a team roster, a parent, guardian, or coach should create the roster entry on their behalf. Parents and guardians can contact us to review, delete, or stop the collection of their child's information.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
