Volunteer Tracking

Post the job, let people claim it

Every team needs scorekeepers, timekeepers, snack bar shifts and someone to run the clock. Asking for those in a group chat means three people volunteer for the same job and nobody covers the other two. Volunteer slots make the open jobs visible and the claims permanent.

Find it at Coach's Corner → Volunteers.

Creating a slot

The steps

  1. 1. Coach's Corner → Volunteers
  2. 2. Tap New Slot
  3. 3. Title it — "Scorekeeper"
  4. 4. Say how many people you need
  5. 5. Set a deadline if it matters
  6. 6. Save

Details you can add

  • · A description — what the job actually involves
  • · How many people the slot needs
  • · A sign-up deadline
  • · A link to a specific event

Tying a slot to an event pulls the event's name and start time onto it, so "Scorekeeper" is unambiguous when there are four games that week.

Signing up

Team members open the slot and claim it, adding their name and an optional note — "can only stay until the third period".

Each slot shows how many places are filled against how many you asked for, and lists who signed up. That count is the whole point: you can tell at a glance whether Saturday is covered without counting replies in a thread.

Requirements

Volunteer tracking is a premium team feature — the team needs a Pro slot from its owner, or funding through RosterHub Max. Coaches and team admins create the slots; anyone on the team can sign up for one.
